Mr. Rich said Friday that with the information Deadspin had last year, there was nothing he would change about the article. Mr. Rich joined G/O Media in January 2020 to edit Deadspin. Deadspin was dormant for several months before relaunching under Mr. Rich. Mr. Rich was elevated to editorial director in April 2020.
