Photo: BSSCHATTOGRAM, March 27, 2026 (BSS) - A ship carrying a total of 30,000 tonnes of fuel oil-10,000 tonnes of diesel and 20,000 tonnes of jet oil- has docked at Chattogram port today. Bangladesh Petroleum Corporation (BPC) Senior General Manager Yusuf Hossain Bhuiyan said that the ship is carrying 20,000 tonnes of diesel and 10,000 tonnes of jet fuel. Currently, there are 200,000 tonnes of diesel in stock, and the newly arrived fuel will boost the overall stock. BPC imports and supplies five categories of fuel oil, including diesel, petrol, octane, and jet fuel. Rezanur Rahman confirmed that a ship arrived on schedule this morning, ensuring no fuel shortages in the country.
