The roof caved in, at the Central Barguna Govt Primary School in Amtala Par, around 9:15am on Monday. Headmistress of Central Barguna Govt Primary School, Shamima Nipasaid, no improvements were made in the risky building in the past two years. A two member probe committee of the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education, tasked with finding the reasons behind the school building collapse, while talking to journalists and locals said: “The building was constructed with poor quality materials.”
