Of the accused policemen, five hail from Teknaf police station while six others are from Chandanaish police station in Chittagong. Speaking to the Dhaka Tribune, the plaintiff’s lawyer advocate Zia Habib Ahsan said that the court took the case into cognizance and asked the Additional Superintendent of Police (Anwara Circle) in Chittagong to submit a report by September 20. Later, they took the siblings to Teknaf and killed them ‘staging the incident as a gunfight’, alleged the victims’ sister. OC Pradeep is now in jail in a case filed over the murder of Major (retd) Rashed Md Sinha on July 31 this year.
