Northeast China's Liaoning province reported one new locally infected coronavirus disease patient on Saturday, local health authorities said Sunday. The patient in the port city of Dalian, was a close contact of an asymptomatic carrier diagnosed earlier, according to the provincial health commission, the state media Xinhua reported. The individual was diagnosed as a coronavirus patient during quarantine and has been transferred to a local designated hospital, said the commission. On Tuesday, there were four new asymptomatic patients in Dalian, diagnosed through routine nucleic acid testing at Dalian Port Yidu Cold Chain Co.
