Another international brand, Politix menswear, eyes NZDON ARNOLD/GETTY IMAGES Models strut the catwalk in Politix garments at the Myer Spring Fashion launch last year. Australian menswear chain Politix has been bought by the owner of David Jones, Woolworths Holdings, and has signalled expansion plans which include New Zealand. Politix joins a range of new international brands to hit these shores including giant fashion brands H&M and Zara, the latter of which opened today at Auckland's Sylvia Park. "Politix will extend WHL's menswear offering in Australia and in time we expect to roll out the brand in David Jones and into New Zealand." Established 40 years ago, Politix has 75 stores in Australia including 31 concession stores.
