Mombasa Governor Abdulswamad Sheriff Nassir on Sunday shared footage of a young man being abducted in broad daylight in Bamburi. In a statement, the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) elected governor remarked that this was part of a wider roundup of Gen Zs who have been accused of planning anti-government protests. The abduction in Bamburi happened at a time when several young men were abducted in Nairobi in relation to Finance Bill demonstrations.
