Forty-five-year-old butcher Mohammad Qayyum Qureshi of Hyderabad, India surrendered to police, admitting he chopped off his son’s right hand after a heated argument, The Hindustan Times reported on Tuesday. After buying a smartphone, 18-year-old Mohammad Khalid Qureshi was warned several times by his father not to watch pornographic films in the device. At one point, Khalid bit his father’s hand and left home, but got back in the middle of the night. This was when Qayyum, overcome by rage, picked up his butcher’s knife and chopped off his son’s hand.
