Angela worked at Commonwealth Bank for 45 years... her son revealed the parting gift that left both of them in disbelief: 'Didn't feel valued'

An Aussie has revealed his mother was given only some flowers and a service pin when she resigned from a major bank after working there for almost five decades. Angela received the gifts to recognise her 45 years of work as a teller at Commonwealth Bank despite spending more than two thirds of her life there. Her son Nick told Daily Mail the lack of thought that went into the present left his mother feeling underappreciated. 'All she got was a bunch of flowers and a pin to say she worked there for 45 years. 'My dad worked for a multi-million dollar company for 45 years and once got two movie tickets,' a third said.
