The Labour Deputy Leader was moved from her role as Labour chair and handed the post of shadow chancellor to the Duchy of Lancaster in a reshuffle announced late on Sunday night. Ms Rayner said on Twitter : "I came in to politics as a shop steward standing up for care workers on the minimum wage.
