After a pair of five-setters, Andy Murray made it through to the fourth round of the French Open in only three. Rogers, an American ranked 108th, is now into the fourth round at a Grand Slam tournament for the first time. In the women's draw, Garbine Muguruza, Simona Halep and Samantha Stosur all made it through to the fourth round. Playing in only her second major tournament, Osaka won the first set but then struggled against the 2014 French Open runner-up from Romania. Halep won 4-6, 6-2, 6-3 in what was the 18-year-old Osaka's first match against a top-10 player.
