Samsung smartphones including Galaxy S21, Galaxy A50, Galaxy S8, Galaxy A71, Note 20 Ultra appear to be affected by the issue. Users have reported of different apps including Amazon, Gmail, and Google crashing on their phones. Google has acknowledged the issue identifying WebKit as the source, and is currently working on a fix, The Verge reported. They have suggested uninstalling app updates from the Google Play Store for all apps to work properly. To do this users can head to Play Store, search for Android System WebView, and press the uninstall button.
