Google earlier this month had announced that it will soon release a developer preview of Android 7.1 Nougat to select Nexus phones and other devices. Android 7.1 Nougat developer preview can now be installed on Nexus 5X, Nexus 6P and Pixel C devices. The Android 7.1 developer preview brings features like home screen app shortcuts, circular icons and image keyboard. Burke had earlier announced that the developer preview will be made available to Nexus 5X, Nexus 6P, Nexus 6, Nexus 9, Nexus Player and Pixel C tablet. Going by the latest announcement Nexus 6, Nexus 9 and Nexus Player will receive the Android 7.1 preview in November.
