So it is pleasant to hear that Conservative leader Andrew Scheer is making a game effort to turn the Canada Food Guide into a fun election issue. The Food Guide is luscious this year with photos of delicious and healthy food styled attractively. It always suggested milk and milk products as well as meat and meat alternates, such as beans ’n’ things. Whether it comes from goats, sheep or nuts, I will drink milk and back the dairy industry until the cows come home. The fact that meat and milk will disappear with global heating is what Scheer should be telling cattle people.
