Tony Andreu claims the presence of gambling in Scottish football was the first thing he noticed when he arrived over seven years ago. PFA Scotland visited St Mirren’s training ground on Friday to, among other things, remind their members that there is a blanket ban on gambling on football. Ahead of the visit of Aberdeen on Sunday, he said: “The first thing that struck me when I came here that everything surrounding football is about gambling. “It is getting bigger in France, there is no getting away from that, but the first thing that struck me when I arrived here seven years ago is that it is a big thing. “It could have been a draw, it would have been a well-deserved draw but I didn’t score.
