The government announced that they have stalled the plans of three capitals and Amaravati will continue to be the capital of Andhra Pradesh. AP Assembly passed Andhra Pradesh Decentralisation and Inclusive Development of all Regions Repeal Bill 2021 that has Andhra Pradesh Decentralisation and Inclusive Development of all Regions Act 2020 and the Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority Repeal Act 2020 Act. Amaravati farmers believe that YS Jagan is not focused on the capital and he wishes to focus on some other regions. Amaravati farmers from 29 villages gave 33,000 acres of land for the development of the capital of Andhra Pradesh.
