Danish entrepreneur Anders Holch Povlsen, who owns 220,000 acres of land in Scotland, has been named as the country’s richest person. Billionaire Mr Holch Povlsen is ranked number one in the newly published edition of the Sunday Times Rich List in Scotland. The fashion retailer comes in 17th on the overall UK Rich List this year, with a valuation estimated at £8.5 billion - up £2 billion from £6.5 billion in 2022. Rich List compiler Mr Watts said: "This year's Sunday Times Rich List shows that a golden period for the super rich is over.
