The German footballer married tennis ace, Ana Ivanovic who also endured a shocking Wimbledon as she was knocked out in the first round by Ekaterina Alexandrova. The Manchester United man had a good spell with Germany going into the semis of the Euros before committing a handball which led to a goal and eventually Germany were knocked out. The pair travelled to Venice in a private jet with close friends and family, mostly trying to keep the media away. The pair completed the ceremony at the Venice City Hall, which is also known as the Palazzo Cavalli.
