Now that the adventure is over, the capybaras join the Ikea monkey, #DeadRaccoon and white squirrel as prominent figures in Toronto’s pantheon of ridiculous animals. Cody thought of his keepers and his old sleeping place. Unlike pretty much anything else you’ll ever read in this newspaper, the following is entirely fictional — though inspired, obviously, by real events — right down to the randomly selected genders of the capybaras.
