An archipelagic mural, and more 0 SHARES Share it! It was the Centennial year 1998, and Gus Albor gave us the ultimate gift of creating a mural on the Centenary of the Proclamation of Philippine Independence! And he did a fresco of oil-cum-cheese-holes to create a mural of the Philippine archipelago and the Philippine tricolor for the Embassy Chancery. We have the most expensive per square inch of a black-and-white Gus Albor sketch. Because if a foolish Philippine ambassador were to transfer the embassy from its present address in Laurenzenberg, he would gift the next tenant an invaluable archipelagic mural.
