Now Ms. von Furstenberg has shown her gratitude by leading a successful effort to raise $100 million for a new Statue of Liberty Museum that opened last week. In an interview with Harper’s Bazaar, Ms. von Furstenberg says her first glimpse of Lady Liberty came when her parents sent her a postcard during a visit they made to New York.
