An-32 crash: no survivors at site, says IAF


There are no survivors from the An-32 aircraft that crashed in Arunachal Pradesh early last week, the Indian Air Force announced on Thursday. “Eight members of the rescue team have reached the crash site today [Thursday] morning. IAF is sad to inform that there are no survivors from the crash of An-32,” IAF said in a tweet. Charles, Squadron Leader H. Vinod, Flight Lieutenants R. Thapa, A. Tanwar, S. Mohanty and M.K. The An-32 with 13 personnel took off from Jorhat in Assam at 1227 hrs on June 3 for Mechuka Advanced Landing Ground in Arunachal Pradesh but lost contact around 1300 hrs.
