In Jhenaidha, as many as 227,000 farmers suffered heavy losses as a total of 12,138 hectares of cropland were damaged. But the cyclone damaged the whole garden, causing loss of Tk 2 lakh. Regarding the matter, Gopalganj Water Development Board (WDB)Executive Engineer Biswajit Baroi said: "We will inspect the area and will take up a project to solve the problem. I hope the farmers will get rid of the problem once the project is sanctioned and completed.
