Deputy Governor Amos Nyaribo has been sworn in as the second governor for Nyamira County. The swearing-in ceremony took place at the Nyamira Primary school in Nyamira town on Tuesday. Various leaders attended the ceremony including Kisumu deputy governor Mathews Owili, Kisii County Governor James Ongwae, Nyamira County Commissioner Amos Mariba, County secretary James Ntabo and a number of MCAs from several counties. Nyaribo was sworn in by Nyamira High Court Presiding Judge Esther Maina. Leaders present urged Nyaribo to ensure he fulfils the promises that he and his departed boss had made to the residents of Nyamira.
