The Siddaramaiah government has endorsed this, leading to Shah and Yeddyurappa accusing Congress of being “viciously divisive.”Shah also visited prominent Lingayat mutts of Siddarudha and Moorusavira in Hubballi, the main city in Dharwad district. “Rahul baba may not have been taught that his grandmother ( Indira Gandhi ) imposed emergency and censorship, (and) put over a lakh opposition leaders in jail.”Targeting the state government, Shah said “Karnataka is the ATM of corruption” for Congress. He is looking for other constituencies, (but) why will any other district accept him when his own does not?” the state BJP president said.
