Through her lawyers, Amira said the woman, Irene Mwende Mutie, had on diverse dates, posted ‘highly defamatory’ sentiments which were accessible to millions of people. They further accused Mwende of threatening Amira, adding that her posts were ‘reckless and unethical.’“This woman has bullied me on Facebook for long and I am tired. I hope you are aware that the letter has been sent to KEBS (her place of work) Since you have blocked my lawyer on whatsapp, hayaa vuta stool uisomee hapa,” wrote Amira. Social media bullying and defamation has been a hot topic in recent years and some celebrities have taken legal steps against those who have tarnished their names.
