Amira Sharon Beeber, a daughter of Linda Barash Beeber and Dr. Bruce J. Beeber of Atlanta, is to be married Jan. 15 to Michael George Burke, a son of Bella A. Kaufman and Leo G. Burke of San Diego. The bride, who will continue to use her name professionally, graduated with distinction from the University of Virginia. The bride’s father is a pediatrician in private practice in Conyers, Ga., and her mother is the practice’s manager. The groom graduated from the University of California, San Diego. The groom’s mother, a registered nurse, is a senior director of clinical services at Scripps Memorial Hospital Encinitas in Encinitas, Calif. His father is an independent real estate broker in San Diego.
