Photo: BSSDHAKA, Feb 25, 2026 (BSS) -The State Minister for Youth and Sports M Aminul Haque today urged the banks and financial institutions of the country to play an active role in the overall development of the country's sports arena and ensuring the professionalism of players. He made the remark at a view exchange meeting with the managing directors and chief executive officers of the country's leading banks and financial institutions at the conference room of the National Sports Council. Mahbub-ul-Alam, Secretary of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the State Minister said that the role of the private sector, especially banks and financial institutions, along with government efforts, in developing sports fields is immense. They also expressed their determination to work shoulder to shoulder to elevate the country's sports arena to a world standard.
