Snipers, drones, sharpshooters were deployed as Union Minister Amit Shah made his first visit to Jammu and Kashmir since Article 370 was abrogated on August 5, 2019. The visit comes at a time when the Union Territory is spooked by the targeted killings of people from other states and locals and heightened terrorism by Pakistan-backed outfits.
