Amherstburg police had to use a Taser to stop a man wielding two large swords over the weekend. When they arrived, they found a man in a "state of anger and rage," according to the Amherstburg Police Service. Police tried to speak with the man, but he ran to the basement and returned with what officers describe as two large swords. Confronted with the sword-wielding man, police used a Taser to stop him and take him into custody. A 48-year-old Amherstburg man faces a charge of weapons dangerous.
