By Ben GlickmanAmericold Realty Trust on Wednesday named Jay Wells as chief financial officer, effective Jan. 15. The Atlanta-based temperature-controlled warehouse company said that current Financial Chief Marc Smernoff would resign, effective Jan. 12. Wells, 61, joins the company from Primo Water, where has was finance chief since 2012. He previously served as financial chief of the Canada Division of Molson Coors Beverages. Wells will receive an annual base salary of $575,000, with a 2024 target bonus of 90% of his base salary, according to a regulatory filing.
