Italian America's Cup boss Patrizio Bertelli has doubled down on his criticism of the "aggressive" new foiling monohull, believing Auckland 2021 would have more teams with a less complex boat. LUNA ROSSA Luna Rossa believe Team New Zealand have gone a step too far with the new America's Cup design. Asked about his new boat, Bertelli told La Stampa: "Well, I'd say it's not bad, even from an aesthetic point of view. I am only sorry for the opportunity lost by the America's Cup. Slowly, we sell our boat, the Kiwis theirs, the class gets bigger and even the America's Cup can go back to having a wider participation."
