Americans honour fallen on 20th anniversary of 9/11


Retired Paramedic Chief Charlie Wells kisses the name of a relative killed in the attack on the World Trade Center. Signs remembering those killed in 9/11 were held at the ceremony in New York on Saturday. At sunset, 88 powerful lightbulbs will project twin beams 6.4km into the sky to mirror the fallen towers. Some 75 million Americans - nearly a quarter of the estimated US population - have been born since September 11, 2001.
