Trinity College Dublin Student Union are blockading the Book of Kells today to protest against the rise in the cost of on-campus student accommodation. Amid the housing crisis, Trinity has decided to increase the prices by 2pc, which is the maximum amount as per Rent Pressure Zone legislation. In response, the TCDSU have said they will cut off access to the renowned tourist attraction today in protest at the increase in price for students.
