NEW YORK – American rock star Bruce Springsteen is officially a billionaire, Forbes said on July 19, estimating that he is conservatively worth US$1.1 billion (S$1.5 billion). Springsteen is on a global tour currently set to run through 2025. In 2023, he sold more than 1.6 million concert tickets, bringing in US$380 million in revenue, according to industry tracker Pollstar. And the 74-year-old Dancing In The Dark (1984) singer shows no signs of slowing down. Other industry heavyweights who have hit the billionaire mark include pop stars Taylor Swift, Rihanna and rapper Jay-Z.
