Four trees from former president George W Bush’s ranch will be part of a West Texas memorial to the Navy Seal and American Sniper author Chris Kyle. Bradley Cooper played Kyle in American Sniper, the controversial but hugely successful Clint Eastwood-directed adaptation of Kyle’s memoir of his time with the US army in Iraq. The trees, costing more than $3,000 each, were purchased from Bush’s ranch near Crawford.
