Energy Minister, Boakye Agyarko on Tuesday asked Parliament to review the terms of the controversial AMERI power deal. Speaking to Ekourba Gyasi on Atinka AM Drive, Former deputy Power Minister and Member of Parliament for the MP for Yapei Kusawgu, John Jinapor stressed that parliament does have the power to review agreement. According to him, parties to the Ameri deal agreement need to meet and submit to parliament for parliament the review proposal. “Parliament cannot do what the minister is instructing us to do, if the minister wants to review the agreement, he should invite Ameri and discuss the review terms and then present to parliament for approval.
