Afeez HanafiThe Lagos State Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode, has urged civil servants in the state to acquire skills that can enable them to cope with the trends in a market-driven economy. The governor said workers should be able to redesign services and execute them digitally in order to improve delivery. He said, “Civil servants should also be able to judge on whether taxpayers’ money has been spent wisely to deliver the right outcome. “Among many others, the government has to provide for the security, transportation, education, and housing of a teeming and diversified population.
