KUALA LUMPUR: An urgent parliamentary sitting should be called as the legal step forward to protect the country's democracy, says activist and lawyer Datuk Ambiga Sreenevasan. "This special parliamentary sitting must happen to test the majority vote. Ambiga said Malaysians must not give up the fight and demand for an emergency sitting to take place. Datin Paduka Marina Mahathir, who was also at the rally, also called for Malaysians, especially youths, not to give up hope. ACP Fahmi said protesters did upset a group of buskers performing for shoppers at Sogo as the band claimed protesters had ruined their performance.
