Amazon is now selling books at yet another Amazon-branded bricks-and-mortar location. On Thursday, the company opened its first Amazon 4-Star store, which sells only products that are rated four stars and above on Amazon.com. The shop, in Lower Manhattan, features a wide variety of objects, including highly rated books. But there's an Amazon spin: customer reviews next to products, discounts for Prime members, a table featuring products that show up on a lot of Amazon users' wish lists--all features prevalent at Amazon Books locations that Amazon seems keen to bring to physical retail at large. Walmart and Barnes & Noble are, of course, Amazon's direct competitors.
