Users can upload their personal digital music collections to an Amazon music library, and access that through Alexa as well. “Amazon’s currency is engaged users, not subscribers to a music streaming service,” he said. The store is experimenting with seven-minute “flash classes” that give browsers a chance to learn more about the company’s gadgets, including Echo, as well as Amazon Prime membership.
