The newly announced Kindle is the most affordable Kindle e-reader of the lot and joins the company's recently launched Kindle Oasis as the eighth-generation Kindle. Amazon has updated the base Kindle e-book reader, making it thinner and lighter than the previous model. The all-new Kindle has been priced at Rs 5,999 on Amazon India website. The main USP of the Kindle Oasis is its new dual-battery system. Also, it has announced an all-new white variant of the base Kindle, as well as Kindle Paperwhite.
