Amazon is in talks to develop a TV series based on the life of the late Libyan dictator Moammar Gadhafi, an individual with knowledge of the production told TheWrap. “Bloodline” writer and producer Carter Harris will pen the script, with “Clash”s Mohamed Diab set to sit in the director’s chair. The Libyan government was overthrown, and the dictator retreated to Sirte. The series began through the partnership made between Anonymous Content with O3 Productions, with the goal of developing content about the Middle East that will appeal to a global audience. A rep for Amazon had no comment when reached by TheWrap.
