Amazon.com Inc, a multinational retailer, is not planning to cut jobs in Italy even though there has been a steep fall in numbers last year. The information is given by the trade unions after having a virtual conference with a company representative. The retail giant earlier announced that the brand is planning to cut over 18,000 jobs worldwide. Later on, another piece of news came regarding Amazon shutting down three warehouses in Britain, putting nearly 1,500 jobs at risk. Italian trade unions FIT-CISL, IL Trasporti and Filt-CGIL said in distinct statements that there was no reason for Italian workers to worry regarding this matter, according to an Amazon Italy Manager.
