BENGALURU: Infosys subsidiary EdgeVerge Systems would offer banks the world over its flagship financial software product Finacle on Amazon Web Services (AWS), said the IT major on Tuesday. "We believe cloud solutions can change the way banks operate, as they provide agility for banks to innovate within the enterprise and external ecosystem. Along with AWS, we can help banks adopt cloud to cope with customer needs, operational pressures and volatile business demands," said Infosys chief business officer Sanat Rao in the statement.The flexible pay-per-use model on AWS will allow banks to choose provisioning depending on their business demands. It will also reduce infrastructure and application management costs for clients and help them service their customers on real-time. "AWS cloud compliance will also enable customers to understand the robust controls in place to maintain security and data protection," added the statement.
