Amazon Go stores are coming to Chicago and San Francisco

Amazon's cashier-free grocery store of the future is coming to San Francisco and Chicago. The company is expanding its experimental Amazon Go store to the two US cities, but did not say when they would open. Earlier reports from Curbed and the San Francisco Chronicle found clues that Amazon was eying retail space in the two cities. In addition to its own selection of food available for purchase online and the Amazon Fresh grocery delivery service, Amazon owns Whole Foods. While the Amazon Go store in Seattle doesn't bear Whole Foods' branding, it does stock plenty of the store's signature 365 brand products.
