Alysha Collett scores historic victory in Inner MongoliaPHIL WALTER/GETTY IMAGES Kiwi jockey Alysha Collett won the inaugural New Zealand Bloodstock (NZB) Cup in Inner Mongolia on Sunday. Da Qian Shi Jie was bred by Don Edwards and Margaret Fife, who is the nominations manager at Cambridge Stud. The New Zealand and Chinese racing industries have joined together for the inaugural running of the New Zealand Bloodstock (NZB) Cup at Korchin​ in Inner Mongolia. Sunday's race for three-year-old's was a joint venture between NZB and Mr Lang Lin of the Inner Mongolia Rider Horse Club and the owner of Caulfield Cup winner Mongolian Khan. Da Qian Shi Jie was the highest rated runner in the field, having won one of his two previous starts, and he proved his superiority with a breathtaking performance for New Zealand jockey Alysha Collett and trainer Yu Jiankang.
