Two men were arrested on Sunday morning for harassing a Muslim couple, sexually assaulting the woman and forcing them to chant ‘Jai Shri Ram’ in Rajasthan’s Alwar on Saturday night. Hindustan Times reported that the couple were waiting at a bus stand in Alwar when the two men came on a bike and began to harass the couple, asking them to chant ‘Jai Shri Ram’. The report quoted Alwar Mahila Thana Chauthmal Verma as saying, ”When one of the men flashed before the woman, the onlookers intervened and called the police. India Today reported that the couple was travelling from Didwana in Rajasthan to Nuh in Haryana. Deccan Herald reported that a case was registered under Sections 323, 354A, 295, 509 of the Indian Penal Code.
