(Christopher Dolan/The Citizens’ Voice, via AP)NEW YORK – Christian Djoos took a seat inside the Washington Capitals’ dressing room at their practice facility and started to stuff his gear into a big red bag for the upcoming road trip. But for the Capitals and Djoos, just having him around the team will be a benefit to both sides. Djoos, 22, has 26 points (five goals and 21 assists) in 35 games with Hershey this season. I play a lot, and we’re a young team [in Hershey], so have to take responsibility and play a little bit more adult style of hockey. It’s also limited opportunities for prospects, particularly ones who play defense, to get NHL experience because there just haven’t been any openings.
