A 15-year-old was involved in a police pursuit in Dunedin early today after allegedly stealing a car and burgling a commercial property. Senior Sergeant Craig Dinnissen said the teenager was seen about 10pm last night outside a Gladstone Rd address, where a Mazda Demio was stolen. Rocks were thrown at a window in a fish and chip shop on North Rd, but nothing was taken. The car was caught on CCTV which enabled police to track the alleged offender down "pretty quick," Snr Sgt Dinnissen said. The teen was also linked to the theft of a stolen orange Mazda Demio on Carlaw St overnight on November 30, Snr Sgt Dinnissen said.
